Threat Dossier
The endless, mutating horde that pours from the breaches. There is no general to kill, no head to cut off. The Scourge is a parasite with no native form of its own. It wears what it infects, consumes worlds to the bone, and jumps to the next when one runs dry. Not evil. Just hungry, and built without an off-switch. Every part of it knows what every other part knows, all at once, over a signal called the Choir. That is its strength and its only weakness: the Choir reaches only so far. Sever a node, kill its relays, push it past the edge, and the Scourge goes feral. Still lethal. But blind, dumb, instinct alone. Isolation is the only way anyone has ever survived it.
Threat Read
- Toxic-green breach cores, black chitin, wet tissue, tendrils, and rupture seams unite every form.
- Silhouettes shift wildly by host race, but the parasite signature always reads.
- Swarm fodder to mow down, mutated elites that spike the pressure, and breach-bosses that hold the breach itself.
- Cut the Choir, go feral: the swarm loses coordination but never loses its teeth.
Recognize It
- Toxic-green breach cores and parasite nodes
- Black chitin and wet consumed tissue
- Tendrils and rupture seams
